Seattle, beyond the skyline
Seattle is a city with more than one story. There is the Seattle everyone recognizes, including the waterfront energy of Pike Place Market, the unmistakable Space Needle and a skyline shaped by ambition and innovation. Then there is the Seattle beneath the surface: Nordic migration, working locks, aviation pioneers, Gold Rush fortunes and an entire historic city hidden below Pioneer Square.
Across two carefully planned days, this journey connects both sides of the city. Day one moves from Pike Place Market and Seattle Center into Nordic culture and one of the city’s most impressive engineering landmarks before an included dinner and overnight stay near Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
Day two goes deeper. Explore the Museum of Flight, enjoy an included waterfront lunch at Ivar’s, trace Seattle’s role in the Klondike Gold Rush and finish beneath the streets of Pioneer Square. The result is more than a quick city visit. It is a layered portrait of Seattle told through landmarks, neighbourhoods, museums, food and stories.

Begin in the heart of Seattle at one of the city’s most celebrated gathering places. Browse colourful produce and specialty-food stalls, watch the famous fish-tossing vendors, discover local crafts and enjoy time to choose your own lunch while taking in views toward Elliott Bay.

Admission includedWalk beside Seattle’s working locks and watch boats rise or descend between the freshwater Ship Canal system and Puget Sound. Enjoy the surrounding gardens and, when seasonal conditions allow, look for migrating salmon through the fish-ladder viewing windows.
Outdoor conditions and wildlife vary by seasonEnjoy free time at Seattle Center beneath the city’s most recognizable landmark. Photograph the Space Needle, explore the public grounds and surrounding architecture, or purchase your own timed ticket to visit the observation levels, subject to availability.
