Experience the very best of British Columbia’s Coast Mountains on a two-day journey along the world-famous Sea-to-Sky Highway. From powerful waterfalls and elevated Howe Sound panoramas to historic mining communities and vibrant mountain towns, the route reveals the region through scenery, heritage and local character.
Day one brings together Shannon Falls, the Sea to Sky Gondola and Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge, Britannia Village and the Britannia Mine Museum before arriving in Whistler for an evening in the village. The combination of natural grandeur and industrial heritage creates a richer perspective on one of Canada’s most celebrated scenic corridors.
On day two, enjoy time to experience Whistler Village on your own terms before continuing to Cougar Mountain, downtown Squamish and the peaceful shoreline of Porteau Cove. Together, these experiences create a more immersive introduction to the landscapes, culture and adventurous spirit that define the Sea-to-Sky.

Day 1
Begin your Sea-to-Sky journey at Shannon Falls, British Columbia’s third-highest waterfall. A short, easy walk leads to viewing platforms beneath the 335-metre cascade, where cool mist, granite cliffs and coastal rainforest create a dramatic introduction to the Coast Mountains.
Scenic nature stopAscend from ocean level to alpine heights aboard the Sea to Sky Gondola and take in panoramic views over Howe Sound and the surrounding coastal mountain range. At the summit, explore scenic walking trails, cross the Sky Pilot Suspension Bridge and enjoy the extraordinary contrast of fjord, forest and alpine terrain.

Once shaped by the region’s mining industry, the village now offers heritage character, dramatic coastal views and a relaxed setting to stretch, refresh and appreciate the landscape.

Explore immersive exhibits, historic machinery and authentic underground spaces while learning about the people, innovation and industrial history that shaped Britannia; the award-winning BOOM! experience adds a memorable theatrical dimension.
National Historic SiteArrive in Whistler and settle in before an evening in the village. The itinerary provides time for dinner and leisure, giving you the freedom to enjoy Whistler’s restaurants, pedestrian streets and mountain atmosphere at your own pace.

Begin the second day with hotel check-out followed by time for breakfast and a relaxed start in Whistler Village. The morning is designed to let you ease into the day while enjoying the alpine surroundings before further independent exploration.
